Paper Readings#

Each week, you will be asked to read at least four papers. We expect you to read all of them but pick two and write 1-2 paragraphs on both papers as a private note on Piazza, due Tuesdays AOE. If it looks like you have read the paper and engaged with the material, you will recieve full credit.

Paper Presentations#

Each student will pick a presentation date and present the assigned papers for that day. On days with paper presentations, we will have at most 20 minutes to present and a 20 minute discussion period. Your presentation should 1) motivate the work well, 2) place it in context of previous work, 3) explain high level ideas and technical details, 4) go over experimental results and 5) discuss limitations and potential impacts of the work.

Final Projects#

The final project will be your opportunity to explore some of the topics introduced in the course more deeply.

  • Your project should be related to the course.
  • You are welcome to work on the project in a team (3 people at most).
